Welcome to the Berlin Elementary School webpage! Berlin is a great place to play, grow, live and learn. We are an PK-6 school with around 200 students. BES is apart of the Washington Central Unified Union School District. WCSU exists to nurture and inspire in all students the passion, creativity and power to contribute to their local and global communities.

I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to lead such a wonderful group of students and educators. I am a Vermont native and have years of experience as an elementary classroom teacher, most recently I was the Principal of Fayston Elementary School. I am a Berlin resident and feel a great sense of pride having the opportunity to live and work in the same community.

When I’m not at school you can often find me outside spending time with family and friends. I love to ski in the winter and spend time skiing, tubing, wake surfing and relaxing on the water in the summer. You may also see me on the biking trails in the area or out on the road running. When the weather isn’t conducive to outdoor activities you’ll find me listening to an audiobook, some great music or in the kitchen baking.

I’m a lifelong learner and am always seeking to find the best for our staff and students. All students and staff have the ability to succeed with the right tools and support. It’s our job as a community to identify those supports and help each person grow.

If you have any questions about our community or would like to stop by for a tour please reach out. Give us a call at 802-223-2796 or email myself or our administrative assistant Lori a

Be Well,
